Joanna and David

September 15th, 2007 by Helen

On Saturday 8th September I was lucky enough to be shooting inside Tower Bridge. Joanna and David (Davo to his friends) were married in the Bridge Masters Dining Room, before moving on to LaLanterna for the reception.

Some last minute adjustments, Andrew, Joanna’s brother, has his tie adjusted by a friend

The bride and groom share a joke during the ceremony. The room itself is quite small, but beautifully done up, and it was like being tucked away in a magic castle. Joanna and Davo were about to move back to New Zealand, where Davo is from, so this was a very special occasion for all Joanna’s family to be there and celebrate with them.

Joanna and Davo emerge from The Bridge Masters dining Room to a snow-storm of confetti. Because it is such a popular spot for tourists, loads of people stopped to clap the couple – quite a few of them stopped and took photos.

Just married!

The walk from the Tower to the reception was a very picturesque one. Here the bride and groom stop in beside the Thames, with the Tower in the background.

Happily married
